I’m Sophia, Founder & Travel Designer here at Sojourn.

Planning unique and unforgettable journeys since 2017, I’ve pulled off everything from Endless Summer-style luxury surf trips through Asia, pampered retreats at some of the world’s top spas, celebratory family reunions at the most exquisite villas in the Caribbean, and countless safaris from gorilla treks in Rwanda to ultra-luxe sojourns throughout Southern Africa. Whether you're seeking a bucket-list adventure or simply looking to spend quality time with loved ones by the beach, I believe that travel, in any form, is an essential part of life.

I grew up on the tiny island of Martha’s Vineyard. My first trip around the world was spent celebrating my 12th birthday at the top of the Ngoro Ngoro crater in Tanzania. Since then, I have traveled to over 70 countries, from volunteering in Ghana and Colombia to enjoying luxurious stays at some of the world’s top lodges in Botswana and Indonesia. I believe strongly in gaining hands-on knowledge of destinations, so I have spent considerable time researching everything from boutique hotels to 5-star retreats throughout Europe and cruising the Caribbean on behalf of clients.

My passion for anthropology gives me a unique perspective to appreciate the connecting and transformative power of travel. With my extensive background in hospitality, I’m able to tailor journeys to match a client’s unique travel style. This ensures that each journey is meticulously planned for a seamless and sublime experience.
